The Carle BroMenn Cath Lab performs many exciting and innovative procedures including but not limited to: diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures electrophysiology peripheral vascular neuro interventional and interventional radiology procedures. The Cath/IR RT produces quality imaging and assists the Interventionalist in performing invasive procedures; as well as technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques. Providing care to meet patient needs and handle other duties as required and assigned.
Administers contrast material (when applicable) according to physicians request by means of existing IV line or by performing venipuncture and placing IV line; recognizes and responds to hypersensitivity or allergic set-up and needs for invasive with inventory/ for correct patient and chart identification diagnosis and treatment pertinent clinical information pertaining to lab pathology medication in compliance with scope of accurately and procedure to patient and provides for patient care- including comfort support safety and all essential functions of the Invasive Lab Radiologic on call duties and/or work variable shifts as assigned to meet department to float to all procedural a clean and neat work competence in the operation of imaging physiological monitoring and related equipment; Performs basic troubleshooting for this to work around and maintain a sterile field during procedures. Administers and with holds contrast and treatment as appropriate. Assess patients for allergies. Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis during procedures. Assists physician during interventional procedures. Able to take call after 6 months of orientation.
Qualifications
License/Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is $35.62per hour - $61.27per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates experience qualifications location training licenses shifts worked and compensation model.
