The Radiography Program Instructor position will be responsible for instruction and assessment of student activities.
Essential Functions:
- Provides effective student learning in face to face onlineor hybrid learning environment.
- Participates in development and delivery of course curriculum.
- Participates in development and delivery of student learning assessments and measurement of student performance.
- Participates in development and revision of course materials.
- Schedules and evaluates students in clinical and observational settings.
- Participates in new candidate interviews and recommend acceptance in the program.
- Provides coaching/counseling to students within the scope of their position.
Other Functions:
- Attends and participates in department meetings and in-services.
- Presents a positive image of the organization.
- Maintains appropriate credentials needed for clinical practice and ensures a current copy is maintained in department/hospital files.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- bachelors degree in radiologic technology or related field.
Experience:
- 5-years experience as a General Radiographer
Certification:
- ARRT Registered
- KY Radiation Operator certification (KBMIRT)
