Radiographer/NCT/CMA

Fast-paced high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer/NCT/CMA

Work location: 7715 San Jacinto - Suite 100 Plano Texas 75024

Work environment: Family Care

Work hours: Full-time 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Thursday (745am - 430pm) Fridays (745am - 3pm)

Heres What You Need:

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

Completion of an approved NCT Training Program (REQUIRED)

Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)

Two years of Orthopedic experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

One year Medical Assistant experience (REQUIRED)

NCT registered by the Texas Medical Board and CMA certification upon hire (REQUIRED)

What You Will Do:

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients self and other staff from radiation hazards

Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients

Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts and sets radiologic controls

Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws rules and department policies

Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to: blood pressure temperature pulse respiration height weight drug allergies and current medications and presenting problem
