Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Radiographer Assistant!

As a Radiographer Assistant at MercyOne you will under limited supervision of a licensed radiographer the radiographer assistant performs a wide variety of routine duties including clerical technical and patient related functions. The radiographer assistant is responsible for assisting members of the imaging team and providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in exam review preparation for the visit patient education assistance with exams and procedures and patient transporting. The radiographer assistant is trained to use a wide variety of radiographic equipment computers and software.

Schedule:

• Per Diem (PRN)
• Rotating shifts (1st 2nd & 3rd)

General Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a 2nd year student in an accredited Radiologic Technology program with current participation in radiology classes and clinical rotations.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
