Location: Lancaster Ohio
Pay Rate: $65/hr
Contract: 6 weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; no weekends no call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 6-week rapid response contract opportunity in Lancaster Ohio. This role supports radiation oncology services and requires strong radiation therapy experience patient care skills treatment accuracy safety awareness and the ability to work with physicians physicists nurses and the cancer care team.
Responsibilities
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and established standards
Verify patient identification diagnosis prescription chart details and treatment accuracy
Prepare treatment rooms position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment safely
Monitor patients during treatment and report any unusual reactions or concerns
Document treatment details accurately using Cerner and support quality safety and infection control standards
Requirements
Active Ohio Radiation Therapist License Required
ARRT Radiation Therapy Certification Required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
TrueBeam Aria and Cerner experience preferred; must be available for weekday day shift schedule
