Location: Lubbock Texas
Shift: Day Shift 5x8-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: 6 Weeks

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join a pediatric-focused healthcare facility in Lubbock Texas. This role involves delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments while working collaboratively with radiation oncologists medical physicists dosimetrists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise excellent patient care skills and the ability to provide compassionate support to pediatric and specialty patient populations throughout the treatment process.

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
• Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy procedures
• Operate radiation therapy equipment and treatment delivery systems
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately during treatments
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient records
• Follow radiation safety standards quality assurance protocols and infection control guidelines
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations
• Support a safe compassionate and patient-centered care environment

• Active Radiation Therapist licensure/certification required
• Prior Radiation Therapy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and treatment protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
• Experience working with pediatric or specialty patient populations preferred
