Radiation Oncologist

As our Radiation Oncologist you will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-value top-quality cancer care to the communities we serve in Durango Colorado and throughout the surrounding Four Corners region. As part of a physician-facing organization you will be supported by extensive resources designed to allow you to focus on what matters mostcaring for patients and serving the community. Our Durango Radiation Oncology program features aVarian Linac and HDR unit 4D CT simulation Aria/Eclipse and SRS/SBRT capabilities providing the technology and resources needed to deliver comprehensive advanced radiation oncology care close to home.

Every day you will evaluate and treat patients across a broad spectrum of cancer diagnoses while working within ateam approach to evidence-based multidisciplinary patient care. You will be part of a cohesive group of 11 Radiation Oncologists across seven centers in Colorado supported by an integrated physics and dosimetry team. You will collaborate closely with medical oncologists surgeons advanced practice providers physicists dosimetrists nursing teams and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans and provide coordinated cancer care. • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration;
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty by a board acceptable to Hospital;
• Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system at sponsoring institution
• Doctorate MD or DO required
• DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required

Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
• Current and unrestricted Physician License to practice in applicable state
