Rad Tech
Full Time M-F 8 hour days starting at either 7a or 8:30a
Performing General Radiography and Bone Density Exams
Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures computer processing and related techniques producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
Job Duties:
- Verifies orders patient name/birth date and history.
- Performs/documents time out procedure for invasive procedures.
- Performs routine diagnostic imaging fluoroscopy surgery imaging ED/Urgent care imaging and assist Radiologist and authorized providers with exams/procedures as necessary.
- Produce quality images for Radiologists review.
- Must be able to complete warm up and QC on equipment (i.e. room checks contrast reactions/infiltrates as required).
Requirements:
- Technical Diploma from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) License
- Current License with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R)Registry
