As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images specifically tailored for pediatric patients enabling accurate diagnoses and effective management of their conditions.
Every day you willperform a variety of imaging examinations on children including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively creating a comforting and positive experience for young patients and their families through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role you willunderstand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging in a pediatric context encompassing expertise in child-friendly workflow age-appropriate patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses in children.
- Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect if identified.
- Understands role of and how to access the Bioethics Committee.
Required:
- Graduate of a Radiology Program upon hire and
- Minimum 5 years of Radiologic Technology experience
- CA Radiology Technologist License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Fluoroscopy
Preferred:
- Associates Other upon hire and
- Expanded IV Therapy Course
- ARRT
