Nemours Childrens Health is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team in Orlando FL supporting pediatric imaging across the OR ED inpatient outpatient and clinic settings. The X-Ray Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams on pediatric patients while ensuring radiation safety accurate positioning and adherence to ALARA principles. This role supports complex OR procedures (including C-Arm and O-Arm cases) emergent imaging needs and routine inpatient and outpatient studies requiring strong adaptability across multiple care environments. The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified holds an active Florida state license (or eligibility) and demonstrates excellent communication teamwork and a patient- and family-centered approach to care. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include patient prep and positioning image acquisition and post-processing equipment QA accurate documentation and collaboration with Radiologists Surgeons and the broader care team. The Radiologic Technologist will perform x-ray procedures including fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a physician with established methods and procedures is responsible for patient care proper operation of all general diagnostic equipment. The radiologic technologist should report to the Radiology Manager or Radiology Supervisor.
Responsible for participation in departmental and hospital programs for Quality Assessment and Improvement identifying opportunities to improve services making recommendations and implementing actions as appropriate and consistent with the goals of the Nemours Foundation.
Responsible for Patient/caregiver interactions and provides accurate preparation instructions to patient/caregiver with the ability to answer pertinent procedural questions.
Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging protocols radiation safety and a working knowledge of all radiology equipment.
Responsible for patient identification proper identification of all images PACS interaction and documentation. Operates hospital computer system for patient data entry and retrieval.
Must have the ability to work well with others acts as a team member. Ability to work independently and engage in critical thinking to improve the quality of care.
Aids in the training of new personnel students and physicians.
Ensures proper function of equipment by proper usage and maintenance. Reports unsafe conditions and incidents.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care as attached to the annual performance appraisal document with respect to the appropriate specific chronological age developmental age or social maturity of the patient.

Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule must have reliable transportation and must be able to work on an on call basis.
Good Communication skills are addition to accepting feedback asking questions and active communication with counterparts and all departments.

ARRT Registered required.
American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire.
