Rackers-Anodizing

Job Summary

Anodizing Rackers are responsible for racking unracking and packing aluminum parts for the anodizing process. This role involves securing parts onto racks using small hand tools safely removing them after processing and preparing them for shipment. Employees must be capable of setting up and tearing down racks while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

1st Shift: 7a-3p $17.50/hr

2nd Shift: 3p-11 $17.50/hr

Positions located in Elkhart IN

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Rack and unrack parts for the anodizing process using tools such as box-end wrenches and ratchets
• Pack finished parts to ensure protection during storage and shipment
• Set up and tear down anodizing racks as needed
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds regularly
• Operate small hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Retrieve parts for racking and transport them to designated storage areas
• Move materials and products throughout the facility including pushing loaded carts
• Maintain a steady pace while meeting production and quality standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor
• Frequent lifting carrying and handling of parts
• Ability to stoop kneel bend balance and reach throughout the shift
• Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
• Ability to push and maneuver loaded carts
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/industrial setting
• Exposure to equipment machinery and varying temperatures
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
