The Digital Media Strategist partners with the Urban One sales team to grow digital revenue by analyzing client needs and presenting tailored solutions across all R One digital products. This role requires expertise in digital advertisingincluding display video audio sponsorships SEM SEO paid social and lead generationwhile being analytical organized consultative and customer-focused. The ideal candidate is digitally savvy eager to learn and ready to make an impact within a collaborative and innovative environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend client needs assessment meetings with sales team to uncover clients goals.
• Build strategic recommendations and proposals that align with clients goals.
• Present digital recommendations and strategies with our local market sales team to clients.
• Meet regularly with our local market sales team and management toidentifyand pursue most opportunistic growth accounts prospects and opportunities.
• Accurately complete and process all insertion order details for sold digital campaigns.
• Partner with R One Digital campaign operations team members tomonitorperformance of campaignsidentifyupsell opportunities and make assessments.

• Consult and educate Account Executives and clients on the ever-changing digital media environment and on R OneDigitalssuite of digital marketing products.
• Collaborate regularly with R One Digital team members including sales & marketing product marketing campaign operations performance management and digital marketing analysts.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Previousoutside sales experience preferred but candidates with a strong competitive drive are encouraged to apply.
• Results orientedindividualwho strategicallypursuesbusiness with energy and drive.
• The ability to execute sales tactics implement marketingstrategiesand deliver effective sales presentations with passion and consistently asks for the business.
• Subjectmatterexpertise isrequiredin the digital advertising ecosystem including programmatic buying supply and demand-side platforms customer attribution and in the latest industry trends.
• Tech-savvy with solid computer skills isa must.
• Must be available for occasional overnight travel asrequired.
• Valid US drivers license and reliable transportation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree preferred.
