Job SummaryThe Quality Technician supports manufacturing quality systems through auditing data collection calibration management documentation control and quality improvement activities. This role works closely with Quality Engineers Inspectors Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with quality standards customer requirements and internal quality processes. The Quality Technician assists in root cause investigations corrective actions process monitoring and quality system administration while helping drive continuous improvement and ResponsibilitiesSupport Quality Engineers and Manufacturing teams in maintaining product and process quality routine product process and systems audits to verify compliance with quality requirements and work with nonconformance investigations containment activities corrective actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement nonconforming materials and support disposition activities in coordination with Quality and Manufacturing calibration records and coordinate calibration activities to ensure measurement equipment remains compliant and analyze and report quality metrics and manufacturing data to support decision-making and process improvement process performance and quality trends and escalate concerns as implementation and follow-up of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) deviations corrective actions and quality improvement and maintain quality documentation visual aids inspection instructions quality alerts and related with new product introductions (NPI) validation activities pilot builds and manufacturing defect samples quality trends and inspection findings to support root cause analysis preparation for customer audits internal audits and quality management system accurate quality records and documentation within company to all quality safety environmental and company policies and other duties and responsibilities as school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical training in Quality Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field two (2) years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection engineering support or related environment working with quality systems audits calibration programs corrective actions and nonconformance processes to read and interpret engineering drawings specifications work instructions and quality using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office working within ERP MES or quality management systems of root cause analysis CAPA process audits and quality improvement methodologies organizational analytical and problem-solving to communicate effectively with cross-functional to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing to stand walk bend and perform repetitive tasks for up to 1012 hours with or without reasonable to lift and move materials weighing up to 2540 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation; mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed.
