Quality Technician

Industrial Hard Chrome is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect products maintain accurate quality

records and support employees in following inspection procedures. This role works closely with

production to identify problems verify that the right gauges are being used and help ensure customer

requirements are met.

What you will do

• Inspect products according to control plans shop orders and customer requirements.
• Review part numbers revisions dimensions quantities and special instructions before inspection.
• Record inspection results and report defects scrap and quality concerns.
• Check that operators complete gauge verification records at the required intervals and use properly calibrated gauges.
• Help maintain inspection and test equipment coordinate outside calibration or repairs and keep replacement supplies stocked.
• Prepare samples conduct salt spray testing in accordance with ASTM B117 document results and identify failures.
• Maintain salt spray equipment fluids logs and supplies.
• Train and coach employees on inspection practices gauge care work instructions and control plans.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to four years of inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machining concepts.
• Strong attention to detail basic math skills and clear communication.
• Ability to use electronic quality records and basic computer programs including Excel.
• Willingness to complete required safety and job training including crane qualification where applicable.

Experience with manufacturing quality systems gauge calibration salt spray testing or Global Shop Solutions is

helpful.
