General Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Quality Technician (QT) is to ensure that products consistently meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves performing inspections analyzing quality data and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process performance.

The Quality Technician supports product reliability initiatives by identifying root causes of nonconforming products and process deviations and by facilitating effective corrective and preventive actions. The position is also responsible for monitoring reviewing and interpreting Statistical Process Control (SPC) data for assigned products and manufacturing processes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Additionally the Quality Technician collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues support continuous improvement efforts and ensure compliance with company quality requirements. This position requires occasional travel to visit customers and service providers within the United States.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Investigate internal and external corrective actions to identify and analyze problems; and to generate implement and evaluate solutions.
• Interact with Product Development Team to develop specifications and inspection plans for raw materials and finished goods for new products.
• Oversee incoming and in-process inspection and documentation control processes.
• Participate in MRB and Change Management process (ECR ECO ECN drawing review/signoff).
• Support in-house testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma with Quality Certifications.
• AS degree in Quality Management Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Practical understanding of GD&T a plus.
• Strong computer skills i.e. Microsoft Word Excel Access; Statistical software.
