Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in Engineering. Calibration and vehicle data collection knowledge Caltools experience preferred; ATI etc. Hands-on problem solver and strong root cause skills. Independent; self-starter when required. Good communicator and can foster relationships with suppliers. A be curious and continued improvement mindset. A strong drive to both learn from and teach others. Emotor Hybrid FHEV/PHEV experience preferred Transmission or powertrain experience preferred Client design/release experience preferred.

***HYBRID / 4 days per week on site*** ***As this is a hybrid position the customer may request in-person interviews.*** Serve as a product development engineer responsible for 10 speed RWD propulsion systems and their integration into vehicle spaces. Take ownership of the transmission system and component warranty work hand in hand with component engineers Work as a team to improve part quality and increase the customer experience. Lead root cause investigations and follow ups with assembly plants and service teams. Must be in Livonia Michigan 4 days a week or more depending on specific testing/hardware needs. Work with Client Powertrain Manufacturing and Client Vehicle Assembly Plants on manufacturing related improvement actions. Short term travel may be required. Must be approved to travel globally.
