This role is part of Alcons Engineering function a team focused on improving quality processes products packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.

The Quality Operations Associate supports the quality management system by ensuringtimelyand effective handling of quality events. This roleis responsible forintake scoping documentation initial investigation and triageof nonconformances at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston TX Specifics include:

• Receive and log quality events in the quality management system (Teamcenter).

• Ensure events are documented withcompleteaccurate and compliant records.

• Gather relevant information toclearly define the scope of the event.

• Inventory blocking and unblocking.

• Conductpreliminary investigationstoidentifyknown facts timelines and impact.

• Collect and review supporting documentation records and data.

• Track event progress to ensuretimelyclosure.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing quality engineering MS&T material etc.).

• Maintain high-quality data entry ensuring traceability and audit readiness.

• Performtriage and risk assessmenttodetermineimpact severity and required investigation record type.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 8 yrs; Assoc.4 yrs)

• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English

• Work Hours: Weekend Shift Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday 4:00 AM 4:30 PM CST

• Location: Onsite

• Travel Requirements: 0 10%
