As afull-timeQuality Managerin theQualityDepartmentatAalbertslocatedinPageland SCyouwilllead and oversee all quality assurance and control activities for both the Machining Plant and Foundry operations. This role ensures that products meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production engineering and supply chain toâmaintainâand improve quality systems and processes.

your challenge

• Develop implement andâmaintainâthe Quality Management System toâcomply withâindustry standards such as ISO 9001.â
• Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements and relevant regulatory standards.â
• Conduct regular audits of QMS and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).â
• Oversee product inspections testing and validation processes at both the Machining Plant and Foundry.â
• Establish andâmonitorâkey quality metrics (e.g. scrap rates defect rates PPM customer complaints).â
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.â
• Collaborate with engineering and production toâestablishârobust product specifications and manufacturing processes.â
• Track department performance metrics.â
• Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams at both plants.â
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.â
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team competencies.â
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related concerns audits and visits.
• Work with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and resolve non-conformances.â
• Collaborate with customers to understand and fulfill quality requirements and expectations.â
• Ensure all quality processes align with health safety and environmental policies.â
• Support initiatives to mitigate risks associated with foundry and machining operations.ââ
• Supervise and leadâtheâquality team including hiringâdailyâsupervision coaching mentoring and performing annual reviewsâ
• Completeadditionalduties as assigned by manager.

requirements

• AssociatesorBachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management orâa relatedâfield.â
• 5 years of experience in quality management preferably in machining and/or foundry operations.â
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001or similar.â
• Proficiencyâin quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC PPAP MSA Root Cause Analysis).â
• Familiarity with machining and foundry processes and their quality challenges.â
• Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.â

• Must be able to stand walk bend kneel crouch or climb for extended periods.

• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts hot surfaces and fumes or airborne particles.
• Required to wearappropriate personalprotective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses steel-toed boots gloves hearing protection and respirators when applicable.
• Ability to respond to alarms and emergencies in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with all departmentsvendorsand upper intermediate (B2) language level in English.
