Quality Manager (Manufacturing/ISO 9001 exp req) Description

Reporting to the VP of Operations you will own the QMS and drive continuous improvement regulatory compliance and operational excellence across the organization. Quality Manager (Manufacturing/ISO 9001 exp req) Responsibilities

Develop implement maintain QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards
Coordinate and lead audits (internal customer third-party); ensure timely resolution of findings
Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and conduct root cause analysis
Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Six Sigma other quality methodologies
Maintain quality procedures work instructions forms records and other QMS documentation
Monitor and report quality performance trends and compliance metrics
Supervise mentor and develop quality inspectors and technicians
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and support product changes
Develop/deliver quality standards inspection techniques and regulatory requirements trainings
Maintain accurate employee training and qualification records
Manage supplier quality performance including audits approvals and corrective actions
Support first article inspections (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities
Monitor/reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ) including scrap rework warranty claims returns
Partner with Finance /Operations to evaluate financial impact identify cost-saving opportunities

Quality Manager (Manufacturing/ISO 9001 exp req) Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Quality Management Engineering Manufacturing or related field required
5 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment required
Management experience required
In-depth knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations (ISO 9001) required
Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis required
