The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system. They are also responsible for customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement and production monitoring activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
All ongoing production quality activities
The development of a strong quality function/team across all shifts
Driving activities to improve overall production process robustness
Develop and maintain the companys Quality Management System
Champion of internal and external audits
Develop and overall long-term plan for the quality function
Help drive programs through the APQP PPAP and launch process to the successful start of production
Champion the corrective action system as it relates to customer audit internal and other complaints
Scrap and Hold Process Management
Continuous improvement activities
All other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead manage and hold accountable members of the quality team
Qualifications/Experience/Education:
Pass Pre-Employment Screening (e.g. drug test background check)
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF Requirements
Ability to identify and solve problems
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field OR
Minimum 5-10 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of Quality team leadership experience preferred
