Job Summary
The Quality Manager II is an experienced quality leader responsible for managing quality assurance and quality control operations on large-scale or technically complex projects. This position leads the implementation of quality systems oversees inspection and documentation processes and drives continuous improvement across project teams. The Quality Manager II acts as a key liaison between project stakeholders field operations subcontractors and clients to ensure all work complies with contractual regulatory and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
all quality-related activities on-site ensuring alignment with project specifications codes (e.g. AWS ASME AISC API ACI) and applicable regulations.
quality meetings inspections and audits; coordinate timely close-out of quality-related action items.
the development implementation and maintenance of Project Quality Plans (PQPs) Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
project quality documentation including NCRs CARs punch lists QA audits and turnover packages.
inspection and testing activities for civil structural mechanical and/or electrical disciplines depending on the project scope.
and deliver regular quality reports to senior management project leadership and clients.
onboarding training and ongoing coaching for quality staff to ensure competency in inspection procedures and quality protocols.
and approve documentation related to material certifications welding inspections NOE results concrete testing and system completions.
as the primary quality point of contact for clients third-party agencies and regulatory authorities.
and mentor Quality Inspectors Engineers and Coordinators; assign responsibilities and ensure high performance across the quality team.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1.10 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the construction infrastructure or industrial sectors including 5 years in a leadership role.
understanding of codes standards and regulations (e.g. ACI 318 AWS 01 .1 AISC 360 ASME B31.1/B31.3 API 650/1104 ISO 9001).
degree in engineering construction management or a related technical field; equivalent field experience may be considered.
success managing complex QA/QC programs on multi-disciplinary projects.
in inspection methods audit techniques risk assessments and field documentation practices.

Physical Requirements:

reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
stoop kneel or bend on an occasional basis.
use telephone computer system email or other electronic devices to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
will climb stairs ladders etc.
to use hands to grasp lift handle carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
interact with people frequently during a shift/workday.
lift push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis.
sit stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.
work various shifts including swing night and weekend.
