Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the quality management system for construction or industrial projects to ensure compliance with contractual requirements specifications applicable codes and company standards. This role provides strategic leadership in planning implementing and monitoring quality control activities and drives continuous improvement initiatives across all phases of the project lifecycle. The Quality Manager leads quality personnel interfaces with clients and regulatory bodies and ensures that work is executed safely efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
inspection tasks and manage team performance to ensure timely execution of inspections and documentation.
implement and manage the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure alignment with company and client requirements.
that all work materials and processes comply with project specifications industry codes (e.g. AWS AISC ASME API ASTM ICC ACI) and jurisdictional requirements.
project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) procedures and quality standards.
and deliver quality performance reports trend analysis and quality metrics to project and executive teams.
or support quality-related meetings walkdowns and turnover processes.
comprehensive and accurate quality documentation including inspection reports NCRs CARs audit findings and certifications.
a culture of quality safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
as the primary point of contact for client quality representatives third-party agencies and regulatory authorities.
mentor and evaluate a team of Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1.8 years of progressively responsible experience in quality control including 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
degree in construction management engineering quality assurance or related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
-depth knowledge of quality systems and codes/standards relevant to construction or industrial projects.
in document control systems Microsoft Office Suite and quality software (e.g. Procore ACC Bluebeam).
leadership ability with excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
understanding of QA/QC processes documentation practices and inspection techniques.

Physical Requirements:
to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes gloves safety glasses hearing protection hardhat vest etc.)
reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
stoop kneel or bend on an occasional basis.
use telephone computer system email or other electronic devices to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
will climb stairs ladders etc.
to use hands to grasp lift handle carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
interact with people frequently during a shift/workday.
lift push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis.
sit stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.
work various shifts including swing night and weekend.
