Job Summary

Quality Management Coordinator

Location: New York NY 10004

Duration: Contract Assignment

Shift: Day Shift

Hours: 7.5 Hours per Day 5 Days per Week 37.5 Hours/Week

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Management Coordinator to support quality assurance compliance monitoring and risk management activities within Behavioral Health and Nursing departments. The role focuses on reviewing clinical audit data ensuring documentation accuracy and preparing regulatory compliance reports.

Responsibilities:
Summarize and prepare monthly audit reports for Nursing Behavioral Health Risk Management and Quality Management departments
Review and analyze documentation related to mock codes nursing assignments hand hygiene compliance and patient observation protocols
Monitor 1:1 patient observations Q15 checks constant observations and restraint documentation (including full body 2-point and handcuff/shackle records)
Track patient identifiers and compliance measures across units
Identify trends gaps and compliance concerns in clinical documentation
Prepare detailed written reports and findings for leadership review
Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
Maintain accurate records audit tracking and reporting documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient safety and operational excellence
Utilize EPIC and other healthcare systems for documentation review and reporting

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree required
Minimum 3 years of healthcare quality management auditing compliance or related experience required
Experience reviewing and analyzing clinical documentation and audit data required
Familiarity with EPIC EMR required
Strong analytical organizational and report-writing skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive healthcare information required

Preferred:
Masters Degree preferred
Behavioral Health Risk Management or Quality Management experience preferred
