Quality & Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials in-process components and finished products.
• Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Identify troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and production issues.
• Monitor machine performance and reduce equipment downtime.
• Prepare inspection reports maintenance logs and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production design and operations teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
• Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and mechanical components
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper Micrometer Height Gauge and Dial Gauge
• Basic understanding of GD&T and engineering tolerances
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Good documentation and reporting skills

• AutoCAD or SolidWorks (Basic)
• MS Excel and Microsoft Office
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Lean Manufacturing
• 5S Methodology
• Six Sigma (Basic knowledge is a plus)
