Job Summary
Location: Nettleton MS
Pay: Starting at $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Quality Lead to oversee daily quality operations and help ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control/quality assurance as well as proven experience leading and managing employees. This position requires someone who can effectively communicate expectations monitor employee performance identify quality issues and help maintain a consistent productive and safety-focused work environment.
- Lead and oversee employees within the quality department.
- Monitor daily workflow and ensure quality standards are consistently followed.
- Perform quality inspections and assist with identifying defects or inconsistencies.
- Ensure products meet established specifications and quality requirements.
- Train coach and provide direction to quality team members.
- Monitor employee performance and address issues as needed.
- Identify quality problems and assist with determining root causes.
- Document quality issues inspections and corrective actions.
- Work closely with production and management to resolve quality concerns.
- Help develop and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct audits and inspections as needed.
- Ensure employees follow company policies procedures and safety requirements.
- Communicate quality concerns and production issues to management.
- Assist with continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and improve overall quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience managing supervising or leading employees.
- Extensive experience in Quality Control Quality Assurance or a related quality position.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and procedures.
- Experience identifying defects and addressing quality issues.
- Ability to train coach and hold employees accountable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions specifications and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with production employees and management.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has hands-on quality control experience combined with proven leadership experience. This person should be comfortable working directly with employees enforcing quality standards addressing issues professionally and taking ownership of the quality process.
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
