As a Quality Inspector you will inspect critical power management and control systems used in data centers utilities and industrial power applications. Youll join a fast-growing team in a modern facility where safety quality teamwork and continuous improvement are key. Production begins in Fall 2026 creating exciting opportunities for career growth in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
Summary:
The Quality Inspector II is responsible for performing advanced inspections of mechanical electrical and electromechanical assemblies to ensure products meet engineering specifications quality standards and customer requirements. This role conducts in-process final and pre-shipment inspections of complex large form-factor systems identifies nonconformances supports root cause investigations and serves as a key quality resource within the manufacturing environment.
Starting Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.
1st Shift:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform detailed in-process final and pre-shipment inspections of mechanical electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
Verify proper assembly and installation of valves fittings hoses tubing torque-critical fasteners electrical connections wiring and system components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings assembly instructions specifications BOMs and quality documentation to determine product acceptance criteria.
Select and perform appropriate inspection methods including first article inspections sampling plans and 100% inspections.
Identify document and communicate defects nonconformances and workmanship concerns.
Investigate quality issues determine potential causes and work with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to support corrective actions.
Verify process compliance and ensure products meet customer engineering and quality requirements.
Conduct final audits and quality verification activities prior to product shipment.
Utilize measuring devices gauges inspection tools and manufacturing systems to document inspection results.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
Assist in training and supporting Quality Inspector I employees on inspection methods workmanship standards and quality procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality safety and process effectiveness.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
Adhere to all company safety quality environmental and security policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years of quality inspection manufacturing assembly or related experience .
Visual quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment .
Experience inspecting complex mechanical electrical or electromechanical assemblies preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings assembly documentation specifications and quality standards.
Experience utilizing measuring tools gauges inspection equipment and manufacturing systems.
Ability to identify defects analyze quality issues and support corrective action activities.
Basic computer skills and ability to work within quality and manufacturing software systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to read write and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to stand walk bend and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed.
