Job Summary

Position Summary

Responsible for performing entry-level inspections visual evaluations and basic functional testing to ensure products meet internal and external quality standards. This role involves inspecting raw materials components and sub-assemblies using tools such as microscopes calipers and micrometers while supporting quality compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical physical and visual inspections of raw materials components and sub-assemblies per specifications and inspection plans.
  • Conduct repetitive visual inspections and basic functional testing.
  • Use inspection tools including microscopes calipers and micrometers.
  • Complete 10 15 different inspection tasks as required.
  • Support PCI activities for NA Notifications at the US Regional Service Center.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and company procedures.
  • Support document archival processes including scanning and shipment preparation.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance (NC) reports as needed.
  • Assist with CAPA activities and support special projects.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required (AA or Technical Degree preferred).
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and system access.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in an office/lab environment with extended sitting periods.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and inspection tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Travel: Less than 5%.
