Job Summary
The Quality team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the manufacturing process including operating equipment assembling products performing quality control checks and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our rapidly growing team in Morrisville North Carolina.
- Inspecting: Visually manually and digitally examining products and raw materials to ensure they meet Anduril standards as described by engineering both internal and external as well as quality management system (QMS) requirements.
- Measuring: Using calipers gauges micrometers and/or metrology to measure product dimensions to verify they match the design.
- Testing: Running tests to identify defects and using machines to test products via Tap testing manual testing and NDT/NDI methods.
- Comparing: Comparing products to a model to ensure they meet high standards
- Recording: Reporting inspection and test data such as weights temperatures and quantities inspected
- Adjusting: Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
- Rejecting: Removing/Red tagging products and materials that dont meet specifications until the issue is resolved.
- Communicating: Communicating product quality standards to Technicians leads and managers.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years of Composite Fabrication or aerospace equivalent experience
- Experience collaborating cross functionally
- Polished communication and presentation skills
- A bias towards action Quality and Detail.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Self-autonomy and strong work ethic
US Hourly Range
$30.01 - $41.01 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
