3rd Shift Quality Inspector (Training on 1st Shift)

Location: Canton MS Area
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Temporary Project Assignment

TempStaff is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support a quality inspection contractor working on a project at a major automotive supplier in the Canton MS area.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable safety-conscious and interested in gaining experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Training Schedule

All selected candidates must complete one week of paid training on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned schedule.

• Training: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1 week)

Regular Work Schedule

After successful completion of training employees will move to:

• 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay:$16.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect automotive parts and components for defects or quality concerns.
• Perform visual inspections according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Sort rework or contain non-conforming materials as instructed.
• Document inspection results accurately and completely.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Must be able to successfully complete 1st shift training before transitioning to 3rd shift.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
