The Inspector shall facilitate mold test first articles new tool validation studies and review new customer drawings and specifications for adequacy. The Inspector is responsible routines generation of Smart Scopes SPC Analysis any process improvement and/or administrative support activities adherence to good metrology practices and QA inspectors REQUIREMENTS:Perform or otherwise facilitate mold test first article inspections by interpreting customer drawings to full First Articles including mapping and in the creation of fixturing for upcoming projects and molded part already in or otherwise execute mold qualification and validation and conduct CpK Studies Gage R&R and special customer in special project defined by Quality Engineering and customer drawings specifications and inspection plans for and improvement of SPC systems sampling plans and statistical in problem solving activitiesPerform training of personnel to improve technical skills job knowledge and WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to bend twist and squat. Must have good vision aided by glasses if :Experience:High school diploma and some technical training through college or technical field or Equivalent Work Experience: 3 - 5 years of to use Inspection tools (Calipers Micrometers Handheld Gages Instron Smart Scope..)Basic math and reading comprehensionBasic computer skillsWorking knowledge of Excel and database programs (Infinity QS)Ability to read and assess drawingsAbility to correctly select and use sampling plansDemonstrate understanding of basic Quality regulations
