Your Opportunity:
Venture Solutionsis seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team in Arden Hills MN. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring accurate completion of client projects throughout the production process. This individual must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to identify variances in printed and inserted output according to client specifications.

Individual will be responsible for most of the day to day paperwork quality control and reporting as it relates to individual daily programs. We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of Direct Mail knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation security compliance and postal regulations. This position may also be exposed to PHI information and must treat the materials in accordance to HIPAA regulations.

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check which requires U.S. citizenship

Your Responsibilities:

• Review and validate Quality of Job Specifications in accordance with Quality Control standards to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily jobs

• Setup Initial Job jackets for 150 250 jobs per day for daily projects

• Perform ongoing Quality checks throughout the production cycle to ensure accurate completion of live work

• Ensure all paperwork (orders) is accounted for completed and logged accurately in accordance with the requirements

• Oversee and review insert tracking system effectiveness and accuracy to ensure all pieces are tracked as required

• Perform Postal Functions as required for marking jobs complete and produce daily reports for completed work

• Identify and correct inaccuracies inconsistencies or ambiguities in the clients specifications and identify primary processing steps or tasks that are required to complete a project

• Escalate as needed for further resolution/reporting

• Individual must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

You Must Have:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects/tasks at any given time with a high sense of urgency prioritizing and during allotted time constraints

• Able to understand the customers unique needs and be able to make and present recommendations and alternatives to the team

• Must be a team player believing there is always a better way and embrace process improvement initiatives

• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power Point)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated organized and detail oriented

• Must adhere to ISO 9001:2008 policies and procedures

• Must be able to work overtime as needed

• Must be able to walk or travel from machine to machine for 8 hours per day with two 15 minute breaks

• Lift 20lbs repeatedly during the work shift

• Prolonged periods of time sitting or standing performing data entry functions.

• Repetative wrist motions

We Would Also Prefer:

• High school education

• 6 months in a quality oriented production environment

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19-21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors which may include as applicable the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporations total compensation and benefits package for employee.
