Overview:

Sentara is currently hiring a Quality Improvement Coordinator.

This is a Full Timeposition with day shift hours.

Position is located in Norfolk VA.

Job Requirements: RN-Bachelors Level Degree

Required: Registered Nurse license valid in the state of practice required.

Required: Communication Coordination Critical Thinking Judgment and Decision Making Microsoft Office Project Management Social Perceptiveness Speaking Technology/Computer Writing

3 or more years of current experience in QI related activities preferred. Experience in a clinical area of an acute care facility with demonstrated leadership teaching and QI/PI facilitation skills preferred. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and accreditation agency standards preferred. Must be able to link the clinical effectiveness and clinical informatics arenas. Requires local travel and use of personal automobile. Requires flexibility in work schedule.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $92060.80 - $136052.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted it is based on a full-time colleague working 2080 hours annually.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk VA is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
