As a Quality Engineering Intern you will gain hands on experience supporting product and process quality across manufacturing operations. You will work alongside the Quality team to help identify and resolve quality issues maintain quality documentation support continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with manufacturing suppliers and other cross functional teams to ensure our products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
YOUR IMPACT

Responsible for supporting Quality Department Staff.
Maintain a positive professional working relationship with all customers.
Review and update quality documentation.
Actively participate in group and team meetings.
Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues.
Assist in problem solving and implementing solutions to quality related problems.
Assist staff with the disposition of defective material.
Participate in quality audits internally and externally.
Assist in supplier quality and process control.
Report and respond to quality process nonconformance issues in an expedient manner.
Work inter-functionally with Quality and Manufacturing to resolve quality related issues.
Must exhibit the ability to proactively complete assigned tasks.
Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as required.
Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current student working toward a Bachelors degree in Quality Engineering Operations Management/Business Administration or a related field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with AutoCAD Creo
WORKING CONDITIONS
The following represents general working conditions for this role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.
This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise dust moving machinery or temperature fluctuations.
The role may require standing for extended periods repetitive motions lifting items up to 50 pounds bending kneeling climbing or using tools and equipment.
Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required.
Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
