Job Description
Quality Engineer PCBA & ElectroMechanical Systems
Join a Teledyne Technologies business advancing defence and public safety missions through sensing surveillance and unmanned systems. As a Quality Engineer youll help ensure the reliability of PCBA and electromechanical products used in demanding environments. Youll work across engineering manufacturing and supply chain to strengthen processes drive defect reduction and ensure auditready compliance.

What youll do
Maintain and improve a QMS aligned to ISO 9001:2015
Develop inspection plans for manufacturing and assembly processes
Analyse yield scrap rework and defect trends to drive improvements
Lead root cause analysis (5 Whys Fishbone FTA) and manage CAPA/FACAR
Own incoming inspection and guide QC personnel
Partner with PCBA suppliers; drive SCARs and performance gains
Support NPI (PFMEA validation FAI)
Advance Lean/Six Sigma efforts and reduce COPQ
Track KPIs and present clear datadriven insights
Enable crossfunctional alignment on quality standards
What you need
Required: Strong problemsolving and RCA leadership
Required: Experience with ISO 9001 CAPA SPC supplier quality
Required: 5 years in manufacturing/PCBA assembly quality
Required: Datadriven mindset and effective crossfunctional communication
Required: Familiarity with ERP/MES systems
Required: Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Advantage: ASQ CQE or Lean Six Sigma certification
Advantage: IPC standards (A610 JSTD001) and ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certification
