THE WORK
Quality Engineer Asc (QE) in support of RMS Operations shall support the Quality Program Manager across multiple programs at the Orlando site. The Quality Engineer shall support assigned programs to ensure product delivered to the customer meets expectations and all requirements imposed. Program performance shall be monitored and reported build documentation shall be reviewed and approved and QE will interface with CM PC and Program Management on a regular basis. QE shall also support such activities as kit delivery inspection activities reclamation areas manufacturing build and packaging and shipping areas. Floor support includes: First Article Inspection per AS9100 of all production parts and assemblies investigation/resolution of problems/issues monitoring/auditing/support to manufacturing assembly and shipment. Interface with internal departments regarding problem/issue review/resolution Customer and DCMA interface when required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical Degree degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Have knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices.
- Experience capturing deficiencies as they progress in floor manufacturing in Q-Notes or QAA.
- An understanding of audit techniques.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications. - Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
Desired Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline
Exhibit business professionalism and values
Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations Manufacturing and other stakeholders.
Previous experience working directly with or in direct support of Quality Assurance
Systems Applications and Products (SAP) experience
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)
Strong familiarity with Production Operations Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
Knowledge of data analytics / statistics with ability to perform under minimal guidance Quality Engineering experience
Understanding of Tableau Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day 3 days off per week
