What youll do
As a Quality Coordinator you will own the quality and food safety programs across Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations ensuring products and manufacturing processes meet customer expectations Nutreco standards and all applicable regulatory requirements. Working closely with Operations Sales Nutrition Procurement Customer Service HSE Finance and Laboratory teams you will coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities conduct audits and inspections coordinate laboratory testing programs investigate quality issues administer mock recalls and recalls and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping protect feed safety product consistency and customer confidence while supporting our purpose of Feeding the Future.

You are a detail-oriented and proactive quality professional who enjoys problem-solving analyzing data and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You take ownership of challenges seek answers independently and build trusted relationships with colleagues and customers. Whether conducting audits investigating non-conformances reviewing suppliers or managing quality systems you are committed to maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement. If you are passionate about food safety animal nutrition manufacturing quality and owning your impact we would like to hear from you.
Youll also need
- Diploma or degree in Animal Science Food Science Agricultural Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of QA/QC or related experience
- Knowledge of livestock nutrition food safety feed milling manufacturing or agriculture is an asset
- Strong communication organization and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word
- Strong math skills and understanding of the metric system
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
- Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel up to 10% between locations

- FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food Certification
- HACCP for Food Processors Certification
- Experience with supplier audits food safety programs laboratories or feed manufacturing environments
