Quality Control Technician-2nd shift

Ensuring coated coil produced meets established quality standards by inspecting testing and documenting

Essential Functions:
Quality Control Technicians are responsible for gathering relevant data that ensures conditions are
optimal for quality coated coil. Responsibilities include taking of paint temperature titrations
measuring film thickness testing inter-coat adhesion paint hardness testing and color inspection.
Conducting inspections using measurement tools and testing equipment.
Identifying defects and documenting findings in detailed reports or digital quality management
systems.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to meet customer expectations.
Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience in manufacturing warehouseORmilitary environmentORcompletion of post high school
education in manufacturing/industrial
Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of hand measuring tools wrenches files and various
small tools associated with Englert machines
Basic computer knowledge
Basic math since we are dealing with Infor that requires operators to input data into the system
Proficiency in navigating and using a computer.
Following instructions and Adherence to required reporting of relevant laboratory data
Attention to detail and precision
Proficiency in and maintenance of inspection tools and laboratory equipment
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
Experience using machinery
Physical Requirements:
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations to include wearing safety equipment
Perform tasks such as lifting walking climbing stooping standing pushing and/or pulling for
up work in a loud/noisy and industrial high-volume environment
Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift in increments of up to
6-8 hours.
Work Environment
Quality Control Technicians typically work on the manufacturing floor and in the Laboratory. The role
involves hands-on testing and monitoring the production line. Technicians prioritize all Quality Control
tests and recording of necessary data and assist the line as a secondary function once all relevant QC
work is completed. Work may require standing for long periods and handling equipment safely.
