Position Summary
I&M Machine and Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team.
The ideal candidate will ensure that manufactured parts meet customer specifications and company quality
standards through accurate inspection documentation and communication.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspect parts and finished products to verify compliance with customer specifications and quality
standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
Document inspection results and complete required quality reports.
Identify and communicate quality concerns to production personnel.
Maintain inspection equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all company safety environmental and quality procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
Previous manufacturing or factory experience.
Previous Quality Control experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong math skills; knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is preferred.
Proficiency using calipers micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or reporting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
