Quality Control Lead

Staff Management Group is seeking a Quality Control Lead for our client in Dayton NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6:15AM - 3PM or
• 2nd Shift: 3:15PM - 12AM

Pay Rate:

• $18.13 - $18.63 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead to oversee quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for ensuring all raw materials in-process production and finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

The Quality Control Lead will work closely with production teams lead quality inspections investigate quality concerns maintain compliance with GMP requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented quality-focused and capable of leading quality efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee quality inspections on raw materials in-process production and finished goods
• Ensure products meet company quality standards specifications and customer requirements
• Identify document and communicate quality issues to management and production teams
• Lead and support Quality Control personnel on the production floor
• Maintain accurate quality records reports inspection logs and documentation
• Investigate quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions as needed
• Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety regulations and company procedures
• Assist with internal audits quality reviews and compliance initiatives
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
• Train team members on quality standards inspection procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
• Previous Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Basic computer skills and experience maintaining quality documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
