Job Description:

The Role:

The Quality Control Inspector will inspect and test products against predetermined specifications to determine if requirements are being met. They will work in a team environment or independently and are responsible for helping and assisting the quality and reliability of our products.

What youll do:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspection on incoming material

• Work in team settings to provide timely results

• Use tools such as caliper and micrometers to inspect product

• Draft inspection reports as may be necessary

• Work with calibrations nonconforming product and quality related programs

• Additional duties as assigned by Manager

What you need to know:

Experience/Skills/Education:

Required:

• Experience in a QC role with a background in manufacturing preferably in the medical device industry

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read blueprints/drawings with strong attention to details

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• The ability to articulate concise reports

Desired:

• Medical device industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

• Manufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing walking bending twisting and handling of inspection tools and materials.

• Frequent use of precision measuring instruments including calipers gauges and micrometers.

• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

• Exposure to manufacturing noise machinery and varied temperatures; appropriate PPE required at all times.

This is a contract/contingent role. The pay rate for this engagement is $21.50 $23.50 per hour. Compensation for this role is paid by an authorized third-party staffing agency who will serve as the employer of record for this engagement. Hydrafacials compensation and benefits programs including health insurance 401(k) and paid time off do not apply to this role. Benefits eligibility if any is determined by the employer of record.
