Job Summary
QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (Permanent)
Our client a global manufacturing organization with headquarters in WNY is looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test products/materials throughout various stages in the production process to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and report defects/non-conformities to both management and the production teams
- Collaborate with production to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are being implemented
- Audit manufacturing processes and documents to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Ensure detailed and up-to-date records are being kept of test results inspections defects and corrective actions taken
- Participate in the development of quality procedures and protocols
- Monitor and track quality metrics providing regular updates to upper management
- Work well both independently and in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- 100% in-office
- $22.00 - $25.00/hour depending on experience

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in quality assurance/inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read write and communicate in English
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with trade tools such as calipers micrometers and go/no-go gauges
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
