Quality Control Engineer

Position Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support our Quality Assurance operations within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role works closely with the Quality Manager to ensure products meet internal quality standards and regulatory compliance through testing process monitoring data analysis and improvement Responsibilities:Support Quality Control Laboratory operations including review and validation of analytical testing and in the implementation and monitoring of Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to analyze trends and reduce variability in production in the investigation and resolution of quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective with production engineering and EHS teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded into daily operations and new product and maintain quality documentation such as SOPs work instructions control charts and inspection audits of processes procedures and systems to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001 GMP).Support training efforts and continuous improvement initiatives within the department and across the :Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Chemistry or a related scientific or technical discipline.3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering preferably in a chemical or process manufacturing in statistical analysis and SPC tools; experience with Minitab or similar software is problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis and with quality system standards such as ISO 9001 GMP or ISO communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and interface across Qualifications:Six Sigma Green Belt certification or with LIMS or electronic quality management developing and utilizing PowerBI reporting capabilitiesThe base salary for this role is $69100 to $103700 annually.
