The Quality Control Analyst I Research Grade is responsible for performing various QC test methods to support research grade (RG) manufacturing technical operations and research and development (R&D) in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
This position reports to the Supervisor QC RG DNA and is part of the Research Grade Quality Control team located at the Aldevron Advance campus (A1) and will be an on-site role for first shift (typically Monday-Friday 7:00am- 3:00pm)
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Reviewdaily work instructions and organize individual daily workflow
Independently performand document established QC test methods according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Maintain inventory reagents buffers and other lab consumables
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor of Science degree is required (in any scientific field preferred).
Knowledge of basic laboratory practices.
Ability to operate precision measuring tools and equipment.
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Required to standwalkbendlift up to 50 pounds anduse armshandsand fingers for various position may stand or remain sedentary forlong periodsof time. This position routinely works with large pieces of equipment.
This position works in aResearch Gradelab setting and mayencountervarious solutions andchemicals andwillbe responsible foractivities related to biological processes such as bacterial growth. This position uses standard laboratory equipment such as pipettes centrifuges glass ware shake flasks fermenters fume hoods and computers.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of QC testing methods preferred.
Experience working in a laboratory environment preferred.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
