This is a flexible full-time or part-time role averaging 3- 5 days per week on an as-needed basis. Where inspectors may accept or decline individual inspection requests.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-article in-process and final inspections at one or more client suppliers
- Ensure products meet quality and specification standards
- Verify safety wire orientation correct turns and pigtails as per specifications
- Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number serial number etc.)
- Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects
- Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances
- Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods
- Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields
- Ability to read schematics assembly drawings and identify wiring components
- Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)
- Strong organizational communication and software adaptation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620
- Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering
- Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
$32 - $35 an hour
