Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our manufacturing this role you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS in accordance with applicable standards such as ISO 9001 AS9100 standards (i.e. etc.).

Requirements
  • Support maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 AS9100 or similar standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external customer regulatory and certification audits.
  • Develop maintain analyze and report quality metrics and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
  • Support document control activities including review revision and maintenance of procedures work instructions and quality records.
  • Perform vendor management activities and participate in investigations of product process or supplier nonconformances.
  • Support supplier quality tasks such as evaluations surveys site visits and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain teams to promote quality awareness and compliance.
  • Assist in training employees on quality processes procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure quality records are accurate complete and maintained per retention requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or another technical field.
  • 25 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems preferably in manufacturing or technology environments.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with quality management software is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 AS9100 or similar quality standards.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys Fishbone or FMEA.
  • Experience in RF electronics or defenserelated manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
