Job Summary

 

What You Get To Do: 

The Quality Assurance Coordinator shall support healthcare compliance and quality assurance activities across the state by monitoring required healthcare documentation maintaining recurring quality assurance and healthcare reports identifying compliance risks and trends and serving as a subject matter resource to program leadership on healthcare documentation and regulatory processes.

The role shall provide administrative management and programmatic support to ensure high-quality service delivery including quality assurance initiatives investigations compliance monitoring reporting corrective-action planning and organizational process improvement.

Compliance Support

  • Generate and distribute recurring reports to Program Directors and leadership.
  • Maintain tracking systems dashboards and monitoring tools.
  • Monitor timeliness and completion of healthcare incident and QA documentation.
  • Monitor trends and identify potential areas of concern.
  • Support internal audits and quality reviews.
  • Help gather and maintain data related to NCO and state QA goals.
  • Assist with survey preparation and follow-up.
  • Help gather documentation during audits investigations and reviews.
  • Participate in monthly QA reviews and related follow-up activities as needed.
  • Assist with operational changes based on regulatory and/or policy changes.

Support to Program Directors

 

  • Serve as a point of contact for documentation questions.
  • Ensure required documentation is archived appropriately
  • Assist PDs in identifying and correcting documentation concerns before they become compliance issues.
  • Track due dates for consents assessments HRC submissions and other compliance related documents.
  • Help troubleshooting Therap documentation issues.
     

Qualifications :

What Makes You a Great Fit: 

  • A high should diploma or GED Certificate
  • 3 or more years of experience in healthcare quality assurance regulatory compliance case management or IDD service delivery.
  • A bachelors degree is preferred.
  • A qualified candidate must possess excellent decision-making time-management and verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • A qualified candidate must be able to interpret regulations policy and procedures and apply them consistently across settings
