Quality Assurance

VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join our team in Chicago Illinois. As a full-time Quality Assurance specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care for our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Conduct regular audits and reviews of patient records treatment plans and services provided to ensure accuracy and effectiveness

- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues

- Train and educate staff on quality assurance protocols and procedures

- Monitor and track quality assurance metrics and provide regular reports to management

- Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary updates to quality assurance policies and procedures

- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections

- Participate in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives to improve overall quality of care

- Conduct investigations and root cause analyses for any quality-related incidents or concerns

- Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to quality assurance and improvement efforts

- Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration nursing or a related field

- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as HIPAA and Joint Commission

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
