About The Role
The Quality Assurance Analysts will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.
The Quality Assurance Analysts work as a team to review and analyze work performed by the Group Retirement processing teams to assure the highest quality for each client request. The analysts provide feedback to both individual processors and managers related to quality results. The analysts also partner with various other teams including the training team the client forms team and various project teams to ensure appropriate communication and partnership to achieve optimal client satisfaction as well as employee retention and engagement.

Core Responsibilities
- Audit & Review: Perform first-line quality reviews on transactions and processes against Desktop Procedures (DTPs).
- Data & Insights: Collect quality metrics identify error trends and pinpoint areas where staff need more training.
- Issue Resolution: Research system or clerical errors coordinate corrections and track audit findings until they are closed.
- Risk & Controls: Review internal controls assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and support external audits.
- Process Improvement: Partner with management to recommend process updates weighing the risks and rewards of each solution.
Key Skills You Need to Succeed
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns anomalies and root causes in complex operational data.
- Documentation & Writing: Skill in drafting clear Desktop Procedures (DTPs) audit reports and action plans.
- Risk Awareness: Understanding of internal controls risk mitigation and compliance frameworks like SOX.
- Stakeholder Communication: Diplomatic approach to delivering audit findings and collaborating with teams on corrections.
Action Plan for Execution
Map the Landscape: Gather all current operating guidelines DTPs and workflow diagrams for the business unit. Establish a Baseline: Create standard review checklists based directly on those DTPs to ensure audit consistency. Create Feedback Loops: Schedule regular monthly or quarterly meetings with operations and training teams to share trend data.
Key Responsibilities

Work Location
