Volt is immediately hiring Quality Associates inEl Paso TX.

As a QualityAssociate you will:

• Test troubleshoot and repair moderately to extremely complex high voltage electronic electrical and electromechanical products.
• Read and interpret moderately to highly complex blueprints wiring diagrams bills of materials and schematics.
• Identify discrepancies between customer specifications and the completed product.
• Perform visual inspections of finished units based on customer requirements and QC procedures.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and problem solving for electrical electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Assembly operations to address wiring issues including performing minor to highly complex adjustments and modifications.
• Perform OHM checks input/output testing PLC diagnostics and related electrical evaluations.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible to work OT on Saturday)

1st Shift: 6pm- 2:30pm

2nd Shift: 3:30pm- 12 pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced education such as AS degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Industrial Electronics preferred.
• 1-3years electrical maintenance or testing experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints.
• Ability to work independently.
• Expertise with basic hand tools air tools gages and torque wrenches.
• Expertise with PCs PLCs Universal Voltage Power Cart Multi-Meter Pulsar voltage and AMP Generator Injection Carts for Ground Fault Dielectric Hi-Pot Tester etc.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
