Work Location:Onsite position at 7300 South Kedzie Ave Chicago IL 60629

Work Hours:Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st 2nd or 3rd shift). 8 hours per day. The job will start on 3rd shift and will need to rotate to 2nd shift and weekend shift

• Second Shift: M-F 3pm to 11pm
• Third Shift: M-F 11pm to 7am
• WE B Shift: S-S- M 7pm to 7am F: Alternates every week Fridays 6am-10am/11am-3pm

Job Description

• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections sanitation activities and compliance audits and generate reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate quality issues and sanitation failures perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall product safety and quality.

• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Food Science Quality Manufacturing or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 35 years of experience in quality food safety or manufacturing roles.
• Experience executing quality holds investigations and documentation.
• Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st 2nd or 3rd shift).
• Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g. QCMS HACCP FSSC) preferred.
